4472j8f_20.jpg Found this on the interweb $300, being delivered Wednesday. Kinda rough, has a 16 horse onan guy says it a nice retrofit. Bought site unseen says he can't get it to start but motor is free,guess I'm gunna ge a bolens guy as well.

Hmm I've never seen a 1050 with a two cylinder engine on it

That is quite an engine swap ,to have put a Onan twin in there.

twin engines are the bomb, there fuel hungry monsters under the hood, i used to think single cylinders were great till i felt a 20 horse twin, made a 14 horse single look pathetic.

Took a bit but got the onan runnin, smokes out the one cylinder a bit, sheet metal is toast on it,only one tire holds air,broke the steering movin it,snowcaster is in good shape, deck is stiff,wont know bout the transmission till I get air in the tires....but I got a running onan!

Coop, glad you have it running. I love the Onan I have. Lots of power. I see yours doesn't have an oil filter. Mine is a 16 horse also, think it is a B 43.

Bought the tractor just for the motor, I have another MF 1655 with no motor....until now, Now I gota find time to put it all back together.
