I found this on our local CraigsList. Has anyone heard of a National brand Lawn Tractor? if so, who makes these? Here's the link to pics and the listing:

Is it possible they were produced by Jacobson? IDK

National mowers are not really a tractor......They were designed to be a golf course type reel mower......I have had a few over the years and have a Yahoo group for them....and other reel mowers

They are solid steel and tough, but lack the gearboxes and variable ratios to do garden tractor stuff. They were made by the Natioanl Mower company, which was bought out by Ariens a few years ago.

Here is what that one in the ad should look like with the cutting reels...its a 68 inch cut
