A couple days ago I ended up buying this H14xl for $60. I figured for that price I bought the wheel weights and the rest was free!

The guy told me he bought it a year ago and never tried to get it running. He needed to clear up garage space so he wanted to sell it. I guess a few people looked at it before I got there and they said the engine was locked up....well it turns out the PTO was engaged which prevented the engine from turning LOL.
The driveshaft was also disconnected and the parts came in a box. I figured it must have had transmission problems if stuff was taken off.

To get the engine running all I did was check the oil, put gas in and turn the key :D It dosent even smoke!
The next Day I put the driveshaft on and it turns out the tranny is fine also :bounce:

I put the deck on and was mowing grass with it for about 30 minutes :dancingbanana:
I just have to get a seat for it now.

Nice score on the tractor. I wonder if the engine was removed and then the reassembly was not completed. Whatever the history, you got a nice machine there for a great price.

You didn't let a tractor outsmart you like it did the others. Great deal!

Yeah some of those weights are pricy
I figured these weights are worth less money due to the fact they dont have the Bolens name stamped in them...

Great deal Brian, I love it when we find deals like that. It usually doesn't happen very often though. Does the rearend have a leak, I noticed oil in the rearend picture?
