Just wanted to thank this site for having the manuals available that my 15-yr old son needs for a shop class at school. He's going to be overhauling a JD 214 tractor. Very excited about it, too!! He's a tinkerer -- hopefully he'll get it all working. Thanks again.

csue10, if your son has questions, I'm sure the guys in the JD forum would be very happy to help. If he likes to tinker, these old tractors are great to do that on.

:welcome: to GTTalk.

Glad to hear you son got the info he needed. We are big on kid participation in our hobby, love it when kids want to get involved. If you can, we'd be interested to see before, during and after shots. And as mentioned above, ask questions, these guys are great with sharing knowledge.

Thanks for the replies! It's a great idea to do the before & after pictures. We'll do that, and I'm sure he'll enjoy using this forum. Thanks again.
