Just had a new little calf escape my calf trailer (I really need to repair this thing lol). It took off down the road on a mission. I shot out with the 4 wheeler & caught up, but it went through the fence & away again. I unhooked a gap in the fence & caught him. Promptly tied his legs up. Put him on the rear rack & back to the road. In the haste to hook the fence gap, it must have hung into my arm. I kept feeling a sting, but didn't notice until I got back to the barn that I had blood dripping off my arm. I would have taken a pic, as it would have been a really cool bloody pic with blood from my elbow & my hand solid red, but by this time it had dry grass & dirt all over it too, so I opted for no pic. Anyway, I rinsed it off and only found a small tiny spot, so evidently a barb went in & hit a vein. A big knot popped up about 3/4" tall & 2" long. Guess it bled under my skin. It's going down though, so all is well. :D Just another day on the farm. My wife & daughter thought I cut my arm half off or something when they 1st saw it!

Keep an eye on it that you don't get any blood clots.

Will, that just isn't right but so darn funny LOL.

Great comeback Will. Man when you're hot and spring a leak it does look like you butchered a deer. My wife always freaks out.

I woke up to this when I got up this morning. I knew my eye had been bothering me. Must be a stye. Swelling is down by 1/2 now though. Not been my weekend!
DSC00544.jpg Sorry for the scary pic! LOL Besides the swelled eye, it's what Mother Nature gave me.
