anybody have any contacts for clinton engine parts.looking for parts for 3.5 hp would like to rebuild but cannot find any parts in ne pa.

That's a tough one. I assume it's a horizontal shaft? What parts are you looking for? I would try to find out if the parts I need are the same between the horizontal and vertical engines. You still see clintons on push mowers once in a while at flea markets.

I found that some techumseh parts will swap but youll need a real good parts guy and have your engine model and serial and any numbers on your carb handy
but the clintons have been out of bussines for a long time
there may be some crossrefferences online... I may have some on pdf somewhere ill look and post if i do

mine is a vertical shaft on a old springfield tractor

The very first mower we owned when I was a kid had a 2.5hp clinton on it. It probably dated from the 1960 era. I have never seen another one on a newer mower.

My Dad built me a gocart with a 5hp Clinton. He drove next to me and clocked me at over 35. Going that fast, that low to the ground feels like you are flying.

MH81 - I still need help with a recoil starter with " exposed dogs " in recoil on 3.5 hp troybilt . Sparky no hurry , but I said that on April 30 :D :blush2:
