I have some more questions about my Super 12. My foot clutch/brake pedal is on the right side, same as the pto engagement lever and crankshaft side of the engine. The ID plate by the shifter lever is missing so don't know the exact model number/age. I've been searching through tons of pictures online and haven't found one with the clutch/brake pedal on the same side as mine. Was that probably an owner modification? It is a bit inconvenient having both on the same side. Also my cast iron tecumseh engine has spacers between it and the tractor frame that are about 1/2 inch or so in height.

Can you take some close-ups of the pedals? That sounds interresting.

Are you referring to a Sears SS 12 ? If so I thought they had a combination brake/clutch pedal ?

It should be on the left side.

Ron

The pedal goes across the tractor, I seem to recall someone wanting to swap sides year ago and trying it. I doubt it would be hard, but never really studied it.
