Ever since we moved to out new house 2 years ago we wated to build a playset and finally are getting around to it.

I've been working on it off and on since last Wednesday, Daphne had been helping me but didn't know what it was since it was just a pile of wood ( I had hid the slide and swings in the barn). Sunday I got it the point where the swings could be added and used while I worked on finishing it. Daphne didn't get to help with that part was supprized with it after I had it to that point.

I did some more work on it last night, and I hope to finish it tonight.

After it get done I will be mulching around it, and landscaping the area next to it to have a place to put the picnic table and have a fire pit there too.

Swing set looks great Chuck.

We did one of the kits that you get at Lowes a couple years ago at our old house. Thing was huge and you are right it is a lot of pieces to one. We sold it when we moved because it was just to big to haul and put in storage. Thank god when we set it up I had the John Deere CUT to move the towers with.

Chuck, looks great. Nice idea with the picnic table and fire pit. It brings back "interesting" memories of helping my best friend build his kit playset. Lots of parts indeed!

Beef it up so you can swing with her, you won't regret doing that. She'll remember it to. Nice playset with lots of things for her to play on. Thanks for the pics.

Way to go, Chuck. Sounds like Daphne likes it. She'll have lots of fun on it, I'm sure. Have you been down the slide yet?
