If someone has a set of top link/ pto brackets they could send to me, I could mock up and kit a 3 point hitch for them?
This is something I have been meaning to do now for a while , anyone interested let me know ok ?

Do you mean these?

If so, I could part with mine for a while. I think the shaft is 1 1/8", though.

Those are the ones. Shaft size isn't critical for the mock up as the kit would be available for a "factory fit" meaning no holes to drill if at all possible :)

Keith, I'll be happy to pull these off and send them to you. Look in my profile for the e-mail address.
The PTO bracket has two holes, the other has one. They do have brass bushings for the shaft. This will be a great build thread for the guys looking for a 3 point. And, Keith, I know it will be done RIGHT! I've seen too much of your work to expect less.

Very nice work. I've been looking and studying. I don't have a Ford or a Jacobson, but if I ever do...

Thanks for the pics and the information. I'm sure someone will make good use of it.

Thanks folks, I love to do projects like this. Kenny , when this is done anyone should be able to adapt their Jake/Ford to a 3 point hitch, and I may even make provisions for a sleeve hitch adapter as well, so anything for a GT will work with one of these rigs !

did the fords have the same tranny as the massey 1450's? sure looks the same, other than the brake (massey=disc, ford=drum). i haven't looked too deeply, but from the minds eye, they do look very similar.

My new to me Ford LGT12h Has a large 4"x4" angle iron hitch welded right at the top of the rear end so I cannot see what is behind it as far as any kind of rear 3 point hitch stuff goes. It does have the lugs on the bottom of the axles. Would you think there is anything behind my welded on hitch so that I could mount a 3 point hitch to mine or was it an option and not put on all GT's?
Sorry to bogart onto this thread but it is pretty relevant.
In short, did all GT's have the parts and options to accept a 3 point on the back?
clint

Clint, if your rig is a hydro, and a Jake .made Ford, then you should be able to put on a 3 point hitch . You might need to remove that welded on hitch though.
Anyone interested in a 3 point hitch ,tell me what you would like, a ready to install , or plans with all the part#s for components so you can do it your self ? Or perhaps both ways ? let me know ok?

The last one is of the pto drive, this configuration has 2 speeds, 2000 rpm in low and 3150 in high .
This makes the tiller hum, and does it make nice soil, but it really makes the engine work if your burrying the tiller.

Going to pick 3 more LGT125s today:smile1: one is going to be converted to diesel and the other 2 made into pullers. So winter time should be exciting for sure!
