Lauber,
That looks like the real deal.
Thank you so much for digging it out of your shed.
So the next question is how do I get to New York?

$100 is kind of a lot for a mower, unless its been repainted and gone though. Most sell here from $25-50 untouched.

If it was me i'd just fire up a truck and drive on out to pick it up, then you could swing down south and drop off the plow to Muddawg. Sounds like a plan?? ........You just figure out how you want to get it, it aint going no place soon.

naw, steve

I started out with a post offering a trade of your plow for my sickle mower
but after reconsidering it , id feel bad about even giving it to you for free ( mine works but is very used )
and edited my post

hope you find one soon

if you need a drop off point i could tarp it for a while

Lauber,
Looks like me to you is a 2200 or so mile round trip. Thats a bit out of the question right now.
How much does it weigh? Is it possible to disassemble it a bit and send it ups?
Strap it to a pallet and send motor freight? Needless to say I will pay whatever the costs are.
If you like give me a pm and I would be happy to provide my contact info.
Thanks,
Steve

Thanks a bunch. I will look foward to hearing from you.
Have a great show this weekend. I went to the NYSEA pagent of steam
last week. That is a good show. 5-600 acres of everything you can think of.
Less than a dozen 2 wheelers though.

Steve b its on my to do list thursday, along with unloading my trailer form last weekends show and hauling aload of roof shingles to my mothers. I get it weighted and figure out what the shipping would cost. Give me your zip so i can get a little closer on the price.

Ok i called the UPS store here with the details of what i needed and they said about $50 to $60 dollars to send it to your house. Looked at the postt offices, but they want almost $150 for the same thing. No wonder there going broke. I weights about 50 lbs. If i was to take it apart and send it out in flat rate boxs it might be cheaper. the main parts are to big for that type of boxes and you would have to know how to put it back together. You think on it and let me know.

Steve, i managed to find and upload a manual for this mower in the manuals section here. Not a perfect copy but it readable and full of info.

Lauber1 I just purchased a Wards Power-trac and I'm in the market for a plow for it. In your collection do you happen to have one you would or could part with? Talking about sickle bar mowers where can a person obtain replacement parts for the cutter head for these units?
