Good morning everybody-nice here. Right Kenny-got to get stuff done before the 500 starts. Not as big a fan since the change to the "universal car" but I still have to watch the big ones. I had the opportunity to "go over the wall" as pitman in an ARCA race at Talledega years ago. Theres Nothing like cars flying past you at 200+

I got to go to Daytona for the 50th Anniversary. That was fun. They do go fast. I am not liking the drafting thing, would rather see just good old fashioned racing.

Mornin' guys. 39° (3.9℃) here and headed to 54° (12.2℃) today. Enjoy your racing Kenny. I used to be a fan, but lost interest in it after Dale's death.

----Lots have changed since then. Our bunch stayed at the same motel as Dale's crew at Talledega in '86 when Chocolate Myers was gas man-great bunch of guys

--Me too Kenny. We'll see what effect these new rules have on drafting today !!

A curious note. As a boy, we all listened to the Indy 500 on the radio. When Tony Hulman announced "Gentlemen Start your engines" it would raise goosebumps on my arms. I couldn't prevent it and some 60 years later, it still does,

All I keep hearing is the want to put on a "show" for the fans. How about a race?

Morning guys. Late night last night cant remember the last time I was up til almost midnight. Not to mention sleeping til 7. Its a balmy 15*F and due to get to the low 30's,
Thanks for the tip Kenny, that is usually my plan too, my spare was on the tractor as I blew original last week. Just figured if I did not have a spare spare on hand, that it would break again.

It never fails, once the spare is on and the snow flies.

Wondered where you were and thought it might be something like that. Glad they got you back online now.

Sorry to hear about the power outage Maynard. I hear you didn't get any snow out of that storm either.

Good morning Kenny and all. Only 29° (-1.7℃) here this morning. Should go to 57° (13.9℃) today. Warmer tomorrow, I hope.
