Once again, I got up shortly after 4, so I could be ready to greet Kenny. Then I figured, what's the point, he'll
be there already. So back to my pillow. Laying there, I got thinking.
No one gets up that early, unless they work at the Waffle House on the I75. I know that, I've done a midnight
run to Florida.
Then I thought, do we really know if Kenny really lives in Tulsa?
All posts are time stamped EST.
I got thinking, that maybe Kenny lives in a boat anchored off the eastern seaboard, and has that time zone advantage thing going for him.
He's getting up just like the rest of us, when his rooster crows.

I guess we'll find out soon. With hurricane season approaching, Kenny may have to pull up anchor, and then we'll see what
time Kenny posts. The rooster will crow when the sun comes up no matter where he is.
Have I foiled your devious scheme Kenny? :D

i've met Kenny in person....he was in Oklahoma..... :D

Morning all !   36*f and slight drizzly , I was putting off replacing the fuel lines on our truck , 2001 GMC until it was a little warmer in garage , figured after Sat. 80*f  it was in the 60's in there but NO , it's still cold , only spending a few hours the last 2 night , with last having the heat on . I guess the only thing  good is I wouldn't be working outside this week anyway

33°F according to the digital device on the wall

I can once again watch the outdoor temperature rise and fall

New batteries got installed so until fall we should be good

Looks like we might get spring next week knock on wood

Good morning all.  It drizzled off and on all night, but no snow to speak of, and already up to +4C. under broken cloud. It seems we've avoided the predicted snow for the time being.

58 and not too windy for a change. Could be worse. Tomorrow might be near normal, before it cools off again.

31°F and the wind blows from the North

The sun is shining and it feels like Feb the 4th

Snow still on the ground which just doesn't seem quite right

For almost a month into spring - maybe this is called "spring light"?

Good morning all.  It was -1C at dawn and has climbed to +3C under broken cloud, with slight wind.  There is still a lot of snow on the roof of the house, but water is already dripping off the eaves, so it will be gone soon. Geese are flying over and heading north, yesterday I saw an osprey vainly circling over the Torch River, hoping for a fish. The Torch flows year round and thaws quickly where the current cuts the ice, often has open spots in the dead of winter. I'm hoping the osprey has good luck.

Morning folks. Just thinking that we are lucky here and don’t have any snow. Looked up and it’s snowing those huge wet flakes. Thermometer says 1.4c which is 34.5f. I think it’s supposed to be warmer and nicer later today. We have had several nights this month where the temp was in the -8c range or 17f. On average it was a mild winter and all the lakes near here were open by the 3rd week of March.

35°F and the sun once more brightens the blue sky

Warmer temperatures are forecast so that may make the Snow Fairy cry

But she had a good run waving her wand filled with white snow

And I hope she realizes perhaps it is finally time for her to go

Somewhere else to vacation until late, late next fall

When once again she may be welcome on us to call

Got back from Front Royal, Harpers Ferry and Gettysburg, going to rest a short time and head to a birthday bash for Ellen ‘s dad.
55° now, not sure about the forecast.
