Cool and windy. Using more heat for the house in March than we did in February.

18°F and the brisk wind from the North feels bitterly cold

This game of having to blow snow everyday is getting old

The Snow Fairy comes waves her wand and makes the snow depth grow

And then Mr Wind comes huffing and puffing to make it drift and blow

Five more days until spring so the calendar numbers display

Better come soon or a groundhog hunting party may be on the way

26°F the wind has dropped and my friend the snow fairy did not play

So the little bit of drifting from late yesterday in the laneway may today stay

The sun has once again chosen to rise and for us brightly shine

Hopefully it will crust the white stuff so it stays put which would suit me fine

Four more days and then spring arrives and if things go right it will stay

And then the temperatures can begin to warm up in preparation for April and May

28° F and the wind from the west does briskly blow

The sun is shining and in the forecast no snow

Sat out for a little while and watched the birds come to eat

Sometimes it is fun to observe and watch nature from a front row seat

Good morning all.  Again it is overcast and a little cooler. -11C at dawn and not supposed to thaw much this afternoon.  Time to get the shack off the ice while I still can.  Hate to call ice fishing over, but the season closes at the end of the month and it's no fun driving out on the ice when there's water on it. There's still a good three feet of ice, but water is gushing up out of the holes now,..... same old message telling us that spring is on it's way.

Got to 54 after a low of 21! Got weather coming our way this week, and it ain’t spring weather.
I’ll try to keep up better this week, spent the weekend with my honey, honey trump’s forums!

15º right now and going to low 40's today. This is the pattern all week. Looks like right now the nor'easter is not going to have an impact on us. Of course after typing this, it'll probably slam right into us. No spring in site here, about 6"+  of frozen stuff on the ground still.
