14° and wind still. So quiet without the wind howling. Hopefully warms up enough to melt some snow piles.

Morning guys. It was -11c 12F when I left the house this morning. In town, 25 minutes later it was almost up to freezing. It's going to warm up to 6C today, 43F, stay almost that warm over night and then rain a bit with the temp going back down tomorrow night to seasonable levels. So, a bit of a thaw. However a Nor,easter combined with a Prairie Clipper are headed our way for Friday. Lots of wind and snow. That's how we pay for the thaw I guess.

Morning everyone. 25° this morning, going up to 41°. So nice not to have the wind chill down below 0.

Morning all !   Went to my son's last night to check on his cats and clean  out at least 1 of his vehicles for the snow storm we just had . He and 2 of his buddies went last week to Cancun for a week . I figured the last thing I would want to do getting back from vacation is to dig out my vehicles and house . Wasn't too bad , the pine trees kept the car pretty clean , but the irony was his 4 wheeler with plow sits there too next to the cars  ,  . One of those " it ran when I parked it " :wallbanging:  :wallbanging:   It's been sitting there for at least a year and half .uncovered of course    I brought it over the house a few years ago when he was having problems with it , worked good but the fuel shut off wouldn't keep fuel from flooding the carb and crankcase , told him to put a inline shut off, he didn't ,,and leaving it uncover the starter and other electrical problems come about . I told my wife when the snow clears I'm taking it and I'll fix it up for us , she said he wouldn't even know it gone lol

49° today but 20 mph winds from the north makes it feel a lot colder.

Morning folks. Mild here this morning around 40f with some light rain and fog. The dirt roads are still slippery in spots. This morning in the dark you could see the spots that were still slippery. They showed up in the head lights as white and frosty looking. It made it easy to deal with. Every winter there are cars off the road, sometimes upside down in the deep ditches, after sliding off the road in conditions like this. It's supposed to freeze up late in the day and get back to normal temps again.

Morning everyone !  Thought I was going to take it easy after work yesterday , worked all weekend then clearing snow from the upper driveway Sun . Well the wife met me before I even got to the house  " Take the walk behind tractor  ( DB 600 ) and do the lower drive "  . As I looked down the drive still having 12+" of snow I wasn't too thrilled with that, I said I should the Power King with the 6' blade , would be able to get the lower section from the street anyway . Well as married men know,, she has a vagina and I don't so I did as told . First 3' from the pole barn stopped it cold , but by pushing down on the handle bars and taking half at a time I would plow about 8' then back up to get the rest . It didn't really take that long to get an opening at the lower drive where I could take about 12" cuts , once opened wide enough I brought down the PK to finish . Again she was right :(
