Tucker, good luck truck hunting! Warmish here this morning, 51* (11C). Sure was nice out yesterday, today should be the same. Did a lot of piddling around, finding homes for little things. Probably won't see them for some time now.:bigrofl:

Good morning folks. Looks like a nice morning here as the sun comes up. It's -5c with a bit of a wind. I guess I'll start working on finishing the basement bathroom today. I need to build a vanity and look at what's needed for the plumbing.

Am going pick up the truck Monday. Little rusty, but what do you expect for a 15 year old NY truck. But the frame is solid and it drives great. Interior is in good shape, and shifts great. Cheesy wood bed but I want a flat bed anyhow. Only one tank is operational. Here is the add until it is removed.

This is more like it! I woke up just after 10Am and got out of bed by 10:30. Life is good!
Tucker, I like the wood bed! The sheetmetal on newer pickups[even 15 year old ones] is mighty thin plus that one looks to be a more efficient use of cargo space. Hope it serves you well.

The bed is done pretty well and the tailgate fits into pockets so it just lifts off. The only things I don't like about it is, the wood on a metal frame, because of it holding moisture on the metal, and that the tank fill location is in the bed. In the attachment I circled the fill location and outlined the access hole cut in the side to reach it. That would restrict you from hauling anything loose in the bed. I think I'll try to change that. Pretty poor plan in my opinion.

When I get it. I'll post some better pictures. It is half decent. But there is some rot on the fenders which I could get some better fenders for it. It also needs a patch where your right heel rests on the floor. Rotted through but with the floor mat you don't notice unless you poke at it from underneath.

Morning! About 35* this morning, going for a high of around 70* (22C). May be a bit windy as a front is coming our way.

Tucker, good luck with the truck.

Gary, you have to get up pretty early most days to beat me on. Sorry about the cold, seems to be lots of that stuff going around again.

Morning everyone 41* F (5*C) this morning and raining. Looking to get up to 45*F(7*C) today. Supposedly we are supposed to get a little snow and some cold next week. Might be able to try out the blower on the Bolens, finally.
