We had a back door cold front sneak through yesterday afternoon, turned the wind to the NE, 53° now 77° later, I'll take that for the "cold day" this week!

Morning guys. Cool and cloudy here today after a great day yesterday. Been real busy with our church play. Dress rehearsal yesterday and performances are on the weekend. I'm doing sound and have been helping out with props. We have 12 wireless microphones this year and extra fill in speakers for better sound as well as a monitor for the band leader. It looked pretty good last night. Ticket sales are pretty good so far. We hope to sell 5-600 tickets for the 3 performances.

Morning guys. It was warm, dry and windy yesterday. Perfect weather for a forest fire. A few years back we had a bunch of them start on the same day in this type of weather and yesterday they had to evacuate a bunch of people due to one again this year. Fortunately that got it under control before it got to the houses.

And..  The annual blossoming of our Tulip or Magnolia tree..  The last few years the blossoms were immediately killed by a frost a day after they opened..  Here's a picture for 2015:

57* this morning. And supposed to be in the 80's again today. It seems we skipped a part of spring. We went from having a fire every night to mid 80's. Where did the comfortable 60's and 70's disappear to.

70° humid, low overcast, not the thick fog of yesterday morning but the air is like soup. 80° later today. We might get Critter's tropical storm late weekend. We could use the rain.

Morning folks. Looks like a lot of warm temps around this weekend including here. Supposed to get in to the 70s here. Snow is almost gone from the garden. Should be able to get the tiller in to it in a week or so.
