The snow has started now and work has been canceled. We would have been setting a floor system and it would be slick walking.

Morning guys. Clouding over this AM. It was -11c earlier but it's warmed up to -4 already. Looks like more snow later today turning to rain. We could get a lot of rain, an inch or more. A lot depends on how this storm tracks. After the rain it's supposed to turn back to snow again but hopefully it will be a mostly rain event. I got the loader on the tractor and moved back some snow yesterday but it wasn't easy. The banks are high and deep and I just didn't have enough reach to get the snow onto the top without making a bit of a ramp and climbing up the sides a bit. Not a lot of fun and hard on the tractor. Without the chains on I wouldn't have had enough traction to get the job done. The sun is really hot now that we are nearing the end of March and melted some of the snow and ice from the trees and in open areas

yesterday. I think they may be planning to open up the roads in here. I see someone used orange paint to mark all the bridges and other obstacles buried in the snow. I hope they do it today before the next storm hits.

47° now, low 50's today they say, mid 60's yesterday, at least in Winchester, VA at the Chuck E Cheese, where I was for my grandson's 6th birthday party.
