We're having freezing rain right now throughout the day 29-39*f ,  most roads have been treated so my ride to work wasn't bad , on our side road , sidewalks and driveway that's a different story :(

Morning guys. Cold here this morning -17C with a windchill of -27. high will be -13C today. Extremely cold. Had another inch or so of snow last night. Pretty wintery here with big snow banks and icy streets and sidewalks. It's been much colder than normal for several weeks now. The next week looks the same. It shouldn't be too much longer before this cold snap breaks though.

That 67° on Sunday is a distant memory, ice storm this morning, went out to feed the outdoor cats and nearly busted my posterior! 30° and freezing rain. But at least it's going to be all the way up to 18 for high by the weekend.

After our 9 month long winter 2013-2014, it looked like we were doomed for another long one again. Mid December to mid January we only briefly got above freezing, The ground is saturated from the wet winter-summer and fall  last year. The water in the ground under our 12x60 concrete patio froze and broke it all to heck and shoved the stairs and deck all outa shape requiring the main one we use to be taken partially apart and rebuilt to open the door. Then about January 20th it miraculously became spring and is still nice! Someone else's turn for awhile! Sorry New England folks! Hope you all get through this ok.
