It's currently -7° F (-21° C) with a 18 mph wind out of the NW to make a windchill of -33° F. (-36° C) No work for me today, (cold weather rule, don't start equipment when -5° or colder) and the kid's school is also closed.

Kenny I don't know how people deal with this type of cold for most of their winter . I'm lucky that we have our own fuel tanks at the line shops so we get good fuel and they get fuel additives put in as part of the delivery . But the cold that they have out west and north I'm not sure what you do when it's -20 or less ?

For me, it's stay where it is warm! Wind is around 25 MPH right now, saying we may get 30 MPH later today.

Cat, close the door up there! Don't need it to get that cold down here!

14* this morning, only supposed to have been 6* so we got a heat wave going. Tomorrow is a high of only 11* with -20 wind chills tonight. They may cut out gas supply down here at work to be able to heat homes so I maybe a chilly lab tech tomorrow :wallbanging:

It's my mom's fault. She must of drug it with her when she drove past last week.

That big fan in your yard pointing south? Turn it around.

Wind chill 7 below here, but not too bad.  I can handle cold pretty well.  Tomorrow morning will be temp of zero.  Just hope we have no cattle issues.

3 or 4 could be anytime.  :(   Hoping they take a couple more days.  Tomorrow is the coldest day we'll have for a while, with Saturday morning being in single digits.

Sounds about right! Coldest day/night is when they seem to want to do it!
