40* and rain. Such a dreary day, and no work due to the weather. On the plus side I am getting the coal stove ready to go before the house gets too cold. Supposed to be a low of 20* tonight and a high of 23* tomorrow.

Hi. It's 3 degrees F, with a windchill of -6. Our temps are quite a bit below average, just like most folks to the south and east.

Summer is definitely over . Going to a few company sites to disconnect cooling fans . Cold weather failures occur if I don't .

15* in the snowy WNY today..  I think I'll stay inside!  The poor dog is guilty of dereliction of his 'dooties' as he don't like the cold weather either!  Hard to believe it was 70* last week!

After a deep freeze the last few days I noticed it was 34F at 2AM.  Then when I got up at 9AM it was 37F.

I looked at the website I get my local weather from and it says low of 19 today and a high of 33.

Someone was a little off.....

Morning guys. It's -2 this morning with some snow squalls. Yesterday there were some squalls during the morning rush hour that caused ice to build up on overpasses. The result was a lot of accidents and traffic gridlock. There was no salt on the roads. Today there is salt all over the place. Part of the problem is that people just don't slow down when it's snowing. There were people in the fast lane going 75mph in a snow squall with almost 0 visability. When they cause a crash they really should be charged with dangerous driving IMO.
