Morning folks. It sounds like our snow removal equipment is getting a workout this year. I haven't put the chains on the 2320 yet this year. I have been able to keep the ice off the driveway and haven't had any traction issues. We're getting another 6" tomorrow as a Nor'easta clips us going up the coast.

Morning All! Things are getting chilly here. Right now it's 20°F (-7C), but temps will continue to fall. May be 12° (-11C) by sunrise. High for this afternoon is expected to be 18°F (-8C) with 15-25 MPH North winds. BRRRRRRRRRRRR!

g'morinin Kenny!

13F now with a low predicted at 11.  High today 12.  :(

Just did stop snowing - 20 hours of the stuff has left us with something real close to a foot.   Drifts are bad and the wind is going to blow 15mph steady and 25mph gusts all day.  I'm going to head out and blade again about 3:45.

The MRS works at the local hospital and even though she is not medical staff,  they really frown on missing work just because of a little snow.  Big boss told them to stay in town if there was any chance they couldn't make it in from home this morning.  I told her I'd take her if I thought it was bad enough.  I'll check out the blacktop while I'm down there clearing the driveway.  I need to go to town and clear moms driveway anyhow.

The Power King 1614 is loaded in the back of the F250 4X4 and is ready to roll.

I really just want to go back to sleep.  :wallbanging:

be safe out there!

Morning Kenny and all. We got a sloppy mix right now. It snowed about 2" overnight. Now it is  31* and raining. The snow is quickly turning to slush for a miserable drive. Hoping like crazy to get the call that there is no work. Being outside with rain and the low temp is a real pain.

Its gonna be a winter wonderland here in WNY although our neighbors to the south will be getting buried!  We will also catch lake effect snow off Lake Ontario this evening!  I gotta go fill up the winter toy!

I road to work this morning between 36 to 40 degrees, raining hard!  Roads were wet, but clear till I got down in the boonies and hit some good snowy ruts.

Morning folks. It's about 14F and a stiff breeze blowing this morning. Got about 6" of snow yesterday and last night. Lots of ice on the roads this morning.

Morning All! It's a chilly 8°F (-13C) this morning with snow flurries. Less than an inch expected. May only get to 18°F (-8C).
