Took a walk down memory lane this morning and realized it really isn't that bad today with the -24* wind chills!!

I remember that one too. We lived in Kitchener/Waterloo. 1 1/2 hr NW of Buffalo, and got hammered

too. Drifts as high as hydro lines. We snowmobiled the city streets for a week.

We had a mini version of that up here yesterday. Most of the afternoon, 200ft visibility. drifts and snow stuck to

the sides of the buildings. They're saying 40cm of snow came down, and not over yet. I'll be digging out of

this for a few days. I've got 3 roofs that concern me, and mild weather coming on the weekend.

Just like the good old days.

Morning guys. Temps are still cold here at -18c this morning but a warming trend today will lead to a wind and rain storm tomorrow and highs in the 10C range -50F. The weather next week looks to be a bit above normal with daytime highs above freezing.

Morning guys. Kenny 14C and sunny sounds great. We can't quite match that, but at 8C and raining at least it's going to be warmish.  After having record cold temps last week we are now going to the other extreme and this weeks looks like it will be above freezing all week. At least now the days are starting to lengthen a bit, just a bit, but it's a start.

Good morning all. I got a relaxing rainy morning up at a cabin with family and friends. And wireless. A needed break from the regular life. Just about time for breakfast, a spread that will equal the best buffet in town.

G'mornin all

37F @ 4:30 am and headed to about 55.

We lost most of the snow yesterday and today should finish off even the deepest drifts.

Now we deal with axle deep mud.

Morning guys. Kenny, 68, that's shirt sleeve weather! We are at 9C right now after a wild night of wind and rain. Just looking out side I see a few branches down. A couple of inches of rain since yesterday morning have taken out most of our snow. About all that's left is where I plowed it up into piles.

Except for the 'wind chill'. SE winds at 20 MPH, gusting at 25 MPH right now. May have to stick a weight in my back pocket!
