Good morning folks. I'm late this morning. Off to Kentville to visit my Dad in hospital. He had a shoulder joint replaced yesterday.

Good morning fellows. Slept in this morning. Hoping to get some work done on my tractors and clean out some of the garden in the yard today. Also need to get my tractors ready for winter or I'll be shoveling by hand. Supposed to be around fifty and sunny today.

Thanks guys. Just got back. He's fine. He has had 3 joint replacements over the years, both shoulders this year and a hip in 2005. In all 3 he didn't have any issue with the surgery at all. The recovery is long. 6 weeks with your arm in a sling and very limited exercises and movement. After that the physio. starts and it takes up to a year for a full recovery. He is 6 months into the first one and he has almost all his range of motion back and his strength is improving. I hope this one goes as well. The biggest hardship is not being able to drive for at least 6 weeks. Mom drives but not after dark or in bad conditions. My brother lives nearby and they have some friends who can help them out.
The biggest thing for him is that the nagging pain is gone. There is pain from the operation but it is not the same and he knows it's going away.

Heck of an alarm clock! Doubt any damage here, except possibly to some of the old overpasses. I hope they get to rechecking them real soon.

Good morning. I haven't heard a thing about an earthquake! I hope it wasn't big enough to cause damage or injury. It's another nice sunny fall day here!

Morning! So much for sleeping in. Rain hitting the window awning woke me up. I'll take a nap later.

Good morning Kenny. On my way to work in a bit. It's going to be sunny and warmish today 14C which is almost 60F. Too bad that by the time I get home from work it will be getting dark due to the time change.
