Cold, -4C but clear here today. Supposed to get up to +8 today with mostly sun. That will be nice for a change. It's been snowing or snow or flurries mixed with rain every day for the last couple of weeks.

Raining and 38 here, my snowpack in the yard has gone down from 24" to 12" in 24 hours. Supposed to get to 52 today, with on and off rain. Flooding is going to be a problem around here. We have been cold up until a few days ago, so lots of frost left in the ground. The melt and new rain isn't soaking in, it's just running off and standing. Not a big deal in my yard, but other places might have some issues.

We really needed this moisture to get absorbed into the ground, we're still behind on sub-soil moisture.

I think that will be a issue for lots of folks.

I still have cracks in the front yard from last summer!
