Morning folks. Maynard, this is truely the most extreme temp. swing I've seen. This morning it was -22 at home. I verified this on 2 different thermometers. It was -11 in Halifax only 25km away. If that isn't extreme enough according to the radio the overnight low was -23 in Bridgetown and -1 in Brier Island only 126km or about 80miles away. There is going to be a lot of condensation on anything metal today when the temp rises that quickly.

Yes,you don't see that too often.

Bridgetown is only 2.5 miles from me,and that's a 3* difference from here.

Morning folks. It got up to about 6C ysterday which melted a lot of snow and ice. This morning it's all frozen again and quite slippery. I can't imagine what the driving would be like without salt! It would mean a huge change in how we commute to the city in the winter. Without it we would probably still be using commuter trains to get to work. In many ways that would be an improvement.

Al, it's just Oklahoma weather. :bigrofl: We got a little moisture so far last night. More is predicted. Next week will cool off quite a bit, more seasonal.

I find it enjoyable to hear what other folks are having for weather and such. Looks like the guys in Texas are getting some good moisture down there, We need a lot more than we have been getting, just hope it doesn't come as snow. That cripples us here, just aren't set up for large amounts of the white stuff. We have gotten a lot of ice storms over the years.

OK Kenny--  Did some E-playin on my Siggy to include local weather (~Weather Underground about 500' from my house!)  Let's see how it works??

Whenever someone clicks on the link it displays the live feed from my neighbor's farm (updates about every few minutes to the website)  Enjoy!!
