Funny how you can tell that someone has to hold the dog and the other takes the pic.

Good morning folks. Kenny, I hope your A/C is working. Those temps are pretty extreme. Is that typical? It must make it pretty hard to work outside during the middle of the day. It's pretty average weather here for this time of year. Temps in the 80's, high humidity and a few showers expected today.

This is NOT typical! Around 100*, yes. This hot for this long, NO! And it's going to go up before it goes down. After about 10-11 AM it's nasty out there. We dropped a couple degrees as the sun came up, but it's back up to 89* already. Humidity is only 39%, luckily. Winds will be light, 10-15 mph.

Good morning folks. Got a pretty good steady rain yesterday and overnight. Not a huge amount but it had a chance to soak in. That should help the garden as tomatoes, potatoes, carrots and such all need that deep soaking to build size. More on the way for Wednesday.

I didn't beat anyone on this AM because at 5 AM, I was trying to get the last 12 ft of concrete in my retaining wall done before the Temp reached 100 by NOON This heat is EVIL- AC in the truck quit-spent all Sat fixing it. Like Kenny, we're seeing temps in excess of 105 and August ain't here yet !!!

Just checked at 3PM CDST 108 F (43C?) on my shaded, covered porch and my property is shaded with Oaks and pines--Always 12-15 degrees cooler than the reported temp !! :mad2: :mad2:
