Well, steel is $.35 a lb. for whatever is on the ground. Found a pile of new cutoffs and proceeded to gather up some pieces. Found 124 lbs. of great steel to go with what I already have. Got 3 lengths of 3"X2"X1/4" angle, about 14', 4 pcs. of 2"X2"X 3/16" about 30" long, 3 pcs. of 3"X1/4" flat about 3' long, and a couple pieces of channel iron. Under $45. I can handle those kind of prices.

I'm a happy camper, now.

Nice find. We have a steel place that sells steel with little rusting or blemishes and cutoffs, cheap but I don't think it is that cheap. It is good stuff and I can't tell the difference between it and good new. I

Good morning one and all. I see Kenny is online but I beat him to a post here, hope its OK if I play too. Sounds like a windy wet fall day for us. Oh and good score on the steel pieces Kenny. We used to have a salvage yard in town that was cheap but gone now.

Mornin' weather is similar here. High wind warning till tomarrow, up to 60 mph gusts and rain all day. A good day for some inside projects.

Morning, everyone! Just going over other posts, slow in getting around to this one.
One thing I didn't mention about the steel yard. They have a mostly complete Case GT there. May have to check that out next time.

Hey, I sleep in once in a while. But it is nice to have a few others to talk to early. Thanks for chiming in and come on back. Who knows, tomorrow you might get here first. Best way to check is at the bottom of the main forum page. It shows who is on line. Also, at the top, under Quick Links is 'Who's Online'. Have a great day!

Yikes Me too, in bed by ten last night, no use watching the lousy tigers game at that point. Usually up by 6 or so must have worked too hard in the garage yesterday.
Good Morning
