MF Rotary Tiller.jpg

Joined the forum a couple of weeks ago and now have purchase a MF 12G with the mowing deck and tiller. The PPO was restoring it when he past away. His daughter sold it to the PO who had the engine rebuilt.

The bad part is the double pulley for the engine is missing. The PTO gearbox and PTO shaft for the tiller is missing too. The PO threw away the deluxe muffler but kept the muffler guard. He said he would try to get me the number of the PPO's daughter to see if she still has any parts. I am not holding my breath waiting.

I thought that I had read that John Deere uses the same double pulley on one of their machines and it is still available to order.

So my wish list is the double pulley, the PTO gearbox and PTO shaft and the deluxe muffler or plans or pictures of one so that I can make one.

If everyone can help, I will sure appeciate it. I really want to get it going and start using it around my place.

:welcome: to GTtalk.

The gearbox & shaft is missing? That's gonna be a hard one to replace... If anyone knows what it is, they know that it's a rarer piece.

The tractor looks pretty good. Deck too. Tiller must've been painted, it's WAY too shiny.

Thanks for the pics, you might put a Want ad in the classifieds above, maybe someone can help.

:welcometogttalk: Sounds like you have a source for the pulley. Hope you can find the tiller parts. Good Luck.

Yes, gearbox and shaft are going to be a tough find.
You may have to buy a complete tiller, if you can get your hands on it.
Nice straight looking equipment there. You even have the chute on the deck.
Ya don't see many of those.

Welcome to GTT.

Everything has been repainted. There are no dents on the tractor. The tines on the tiller look new, I don't think it was ever used much. I will try the classifieds, thanks.

Will you sell it? What are you asking for it? Can you post a picture of it?
