DSC_1167.jpg Thanks guys! I do have a few extra parts here :) The two heat shields screw together just like they lay, and the bracket I think goes down by the hydro adjustment on the left side of the tractor, maybe where the seat pan bolts to tube covers??? I havent been able to find these pieces in the mannuals that I have. I thought I used to have a Tech hh160 mannual but I lost all that on my hard drive crash!! S if you all can help find thier home I would be a happy camper!! :)

Those look like engine parts to me.... I studied the manual and found nothing similar to those.

Have you checked the manuals section for a manual?

Thanks coldone,,,, Doc thanks for spending some time on the left over parts for me, I do appritiate it. I have looked for a manual for the hh-160 with no reward yet. I do remember that the parts did come off the motor, but darn if I can find the right place for them.

That part on the right looks like its a heat shield that goes on one of the sides of the engine....

0.jpg I thought I would share this with you all here and not start another thread hope thats ok! I finished the wiring a couple of weeks ago and got the bolens running for the first time sense the restore. I knew we were about to get some snow this week so I hooked up the plow and made a lift arm for the hydro. I still dont have any wheel weights for her but I put some cable chains off a little toyota on the back and waited for the snow to fly so I could put her to work for the first time. We got about 14 to 16 inches and wow!!! the bolens did better than I expected it to do. It felt real good to leave the shovals in the garage. My youngest even got some seat time. :)

Speedyg, wanted to reply about the decals, I just purchased a set for my h16 restore from sams. Didnt have to take any pictures. He did have to have them made though, didnt have any in stock. took about 2 weeks to get them. They are spot on. Super high quality and look virtually identical to the originals.

Wow, thanks for the nice picture of the tractor being put to work. It looks like you've had quite a bit of snow there unlike most of us.

In my opinion, Sams Bolens are the best of the best.
