Behind the scenes work ongoing , Dave. If you get to Paulding later that weedwhacker could still be yours. One time offer between friends. Sparky

Paulding, Ohio? I know a fella named Jerry from there. He's into electrics!

That's what I'm talking about ! I plan on attending the Flat Rock Creek Festival which helps host his gathering Sept 17 this year. Slide on up - it would be a hoot ! Sparky

I hope you find the "one" Sparky. That would be really cool. I like the one I have and feel glad I have it. Still, I would like to see number one.

Dave - my "sources " say the right answer could come before Paulding event , something I was shooting for last fall . All good things take time . The original timeframe of successful demonstration to successful marketing was 12 months . Not near as many hoops this time , only seems like it. Sparky

This endeavor could be about the merits or disadvantages of extrapolation to either end of a scale . Whether math or just logic. And I was paying some attention early in my education. I believe a little harder work then would have paid off .......

An additional factor is that some units were to be used fo quality an durability testing . This was probably noted in logs which may surface. The military of all countries did their best to account for the men asked to do a job for the Allies and later conflicts. Many returning vets helped build these ET'S in time from 1969 to 1975. Something to be extra grateful for this Nov 11 . Sparky

This quest still has potential for an unexpected twist , but a month ago people thought it was just a story in cyberland. Real people are in it and the pic of it is on Electrak.com. At this point the answer will come when proper time is here - I do not know when that is . Sparky

Fred, I think it would be fine to post, as long as you give credit to that site for the pic. But do as you feel you should of course.

Dan - most everybody agrees that we are dealing with history at this point and I wasn't worried about that one . But with the current high interest level I don't need shut out. I added the two Indiana pics after some thought and they were carried elswhere. My desire has been to get the story out . And being involved has been a real thrill. Fred

Dan - ask Jerry about GEN-397 sound movie. Fred

I've seen that movie and saved it in my favorites, it is not released public you have to link to it to see it, it would be really nice if it was public.
It is an excellent movie made back in the day showing the GE Elec-Trak doing what it can do and it's features.
