I have an Empire Milking Machine air compressor. It was my wife's father's; I think he would have gotten it in the 1950s. I pulled it out of the tool shed in 1999, cleaned it up, and painted it red and black. The red air tank has a pressure relief valve and a brass drain . The starter is out of the motor, but it works fine if I spin the pulley to get it started. I have found information about Empire Milking Machines, but nothing about air compressors on the internet. I would like to paint it the correct colors. I have tried to upload two pics, but I cannot get them to upload.

A milking machine would be a vacuum pump, not a compressor. Does it look like this?

No, mine is an air compressor made by the Empire Milking Machine Co. At least that is what the tag says. It has a 10' air hose with an air chuck and a dust gun, but it doesn't have a quick connect fitting. I wish I could get the pics to upload. I have them at the correct size, but they won't upload. I tried several times, but I must be doing something wrong.

Oh, then they diversified into air pressure systems! Interesting! Wish I could help.

Welcome to the forum! Hope you get the pic issue figured out, as I would like to see what this looks like. Are the pics in the correct format? Maybe something in the name is causing the issue.

I edited your post & added the pics.
I don't see any specific reason why they wouldn't load. You may want to go over the tutorial caseguy mentioned.

Thanks to 'caseguy' for the information. I did those steps but I did not get the pics to upload and the 'insert attachments" window. Also thanks to MH81 for uploading the pics.
