looking for John deere 425 parts

Hello i am new to this forum and am looking for some help on a few graden tractor part. I recently have aquired a John Deere 425 and it has a few missing parts. I need the thottle knob, Break petal pad. the left side valve cover ( the one with oil fill tube) the rear tail light lenses both sides, the two side panals without the screens. Have you checked the Deere dealer. I bet most of those are still available new but expensive.

Yes i have checked with a local JD dealer but most of these parts cost more than i want to pay :) Thanks For the reply!

I see you are only 15 mins from me. I don't have the parts you need right now but have you looked on ebay? You could check with me later this week and see if one comes in.

I have a scrap John Deere 400 1974 Ser# C400D 030831M hope this may help It has 3point hitch

Totally different machine - the 3 point hitch will not fit a 425 without modifications.

BTW, the 400 debuted in 1975, there is no 1974 400. The model number C400D means it's a 1975 mode.
