Howdy all! I just picked up my 316 this last Saturday. Found it on Machinefinder in Montana. It was advertised as a 1985- but as it turns out it's a 1991. Nice surprise for me! It has the P218G instead of the B43G. Came with a 38" mower with mulch kit, a 49 snowblower, front mount thatcher, 75lb wheel weights, and chains. I got a steal of a deal in my opinion. I had been looking at 318s (and when I could find them 332s and 322s) but the price and accessories on this 316 made it hard to pass up.

So I'm looking at adding the 2nd spool of hydraulics- apparently it can be done with the 318 valve- but there are some clearance issues since the 318 has hydraulic steering. My question is: has anyone looked at using the 317 valve? The 317 had two spools and manual steering.....

Congrats on the 316. It sounds like you got some nice accessories with it.

Welcome to the forum and congratulations on the new tractor. I'm not sure about the 317 valve Vs 318. You need to talk to someone who has already done the conversion. That's a nice package with the snowblower.
