I drive 70 miles round trip daily to work. A while a go I sold my work car because I was tired of working on it and wanted something nicer and safer.

After looking all over craigslist I stopped at a small dealer close to the office tuesday. I like what I saw, and last night became the owner of a 2004 Chevy Malibu.

It has 101000 miles on it. Powered by a 2.2L 4 cylinder.

Congrats on the new car, I was wondering how long it would take you to find something. Glad you got it and now you can save a little on gas now.

Just thought I would give an update, today is the 2 year anniversary of having this car. I've put over 41,000 miles on it, and it is still running great. It's going to need new tires before winter.

We take that car everywhere, it has really cut down on the miles being put on my wife's trailblazer.

Great to hear your car is working out well for you .I think that's the same motor as in my 2003 Cavalier . I bought mine for a fellow I work with 140k on it ,now has 190k , they seem like pretty well made motors . Al

Glad to hear the good news Chuck. The trailblazer can't get near that 29 mpg. That saves it for hauling. Glad it's working well for you.

Nice update Chuck. I think most of the vehicles are built to last if they are maintained right. We have 104000 on our pickup and figure its just getting broke in :laughingteeth: .
