Went to a small tractor show yesterday at the wife's home town. Around 18-20 farm tractors & 6 L&G's. The temperature was in the mid-90''s w/high humidity, so I just took what I could haul on the 10' trailer; 317 "Special", L/60 "Custom" & the 8HD cart w/ #20 pedal tractor.

They have a parade at 5:30 pm;

Turnout was light (probably because of the heat), but still worth going to! ~~ grnspot

Thanks for the pics. I imagine the humidity had it really going. I haven't been to any shows, not many around here. I'll get my feet wet one of these days.

Pittsburg Ks is supposed to have a pretty good show and swap meet just a couple hours north of you. I haven't been yet either but plan on going to the swap meet this fall. http://www.sekgasenginetractorclub.com/events.htm

I can guarantee you that your whole family will have a great time at the Adrian Mo. steam and gas engine show. http://www.wmatma.com/page1.html
They have hundreds of tractors on display and great displays of hit and miss engines and old Maytag engines just setting there chugging away. They've got a steam powered belt driven sawmill and threshing displays and a working blacksmith shop pounding away all day long. They do two swap meets, one in the spring and one in the fall. Take a look at the pictures of the past shows and you'll probably start planning next years vacation.

Now if you need to stay close to home and can't stand to get away from that silly red dirt you all have down there this may be better for you. http://www.oklahomathreshers.org/index.html

Whatever you do you need to get to a tractor show. They're great fun and awesome learning experiences.

Everyone else needs to go and find a show near you. http://www.oldfarmshow.net/Regional/North_America/United_States/index.htmland

Our local Fair Parade is Aug. 2nd., I'll post some pics then. Meanwhile, this was last year's Fair Parade lineup;

Your machines are good looking spot but you didn't say where your wife's home town was or where your local show will be.
Somebody might like to come drool over them in person.

Thanks for posting the pics. It is always nice to see the pictures from our members local shows. The weather in many parts of the country has got to be having an affect on some shows.
