Hi gang,
I wanted to put in a prayer request for my coworker and his family. His dad recently retired last year and in the last couple of months started going downhill. They found out he had cancer. They scheduled a vacation for the beach like they always do each summer and planned on having one last vacation with his dad. Him and his family left for vacation this past weekend and his dad passed away last night.

I am thankful he got to spend the last couple days together with his dad and I am also glad that the cancer didn't make him suffer as much as it could have. He is in a much better place now.

They are going to finish out their vacation and the hospital down there is taking care of everything in regards to getting his dad back up here for the funeral and burial.

Prayers to His Dad and the whole family. Hopefully they recover from the passing as easy as possible. At least Dad isn't suffering anymore.

Prayers go out to them all. As the others said he was on vacation, so he passed in good company, not alone at home or something. I guess that is the best you can hope for if you are dying, is to spend your last hours enjoying your life with your family.

I will remember them all in my prayers as well George. It's never easy to deal with the passing of a loved one!

...And lets don't forget each other as we all need more of them.

...and I will throw an amen on that too!
