I need to replace the 24" and 42" B belts on my 1960 RAM restore .
the 24 inch is in terrible shape and there is no 42" belt at present.

Can anyone recommend a brand of belt and composite that has served them well ?

Additionally ,
The manual only annotates these belts as 24" and 42" inch "Special" with an antiquated Bolens P/N

Does anyone know the correct width/pitch?.

Since the belts are in such bad shape/ Missing your best bet would be to mabye find an OEM set of belts and then try and match them up to new replacements.
Bolens was known for using strange belt sizes over the years.
Can you get a picture of the existing belt?
I believe the belts are 5/8

I'm interested as well.

I checked TSC (Canada and US) and couldn't find one under 30".

The longer belt appears to be a B-width as well.

Sorry - not a great picture to show the belts - the covers are in the way.
