Figured Brian would like to know that the 1000 will be gettin dug out of the shed tomorow to get a little cleanup and to checkout the noise in the motor. I think since I just scored another sleeve hitch I'm gonna put the plow on the back of it since its got hydraulic lift, maybe I'm just gettin lazy.

Thats great you are getting the Bolens out. I really want to get a sleeve hitch for both the bolens, massey and cubs but I guess all in due time. Hydro or actuator lift is the way to go. I don't think it is the lazy way out, well kinda but some of that stuff is a pain to lift all the time.

Yeah its a pain literaly lifting any rear attachment with a manual lift Bolens. The 1000 should be the Ideal plow tractor because of the manual transmission and hydraulic lift. This will be the first time I've had it out since I aquired it from the old man. I got it in trade for rebuilding the old mans transmission in his truck and doin a rearend swap in his truck also. I would of done those things for free but he offered it to me so I accepted I did however relinquish my half of ownership of the 800 back to him though.

Like I say there will be lots of pics. I didn't get it out today because I was working on the truck but it should see some daylight tomorow, I did however open the hood and stared at the motor today. Its gonna need a good bath when she comes out to play.
