Guy around here, about an hr away actually has this M-F12 for sale. It has been sitting outside for quite a while by the looks of it. It comes with a blower......He just emailed me these pics. He wants $200......I wrote back saying that it looks pretty rough and offered $100. What do you guys think

I would say you are right in line offering $100, maybe $150 would be alright too. It looks like it is in decent straight shape other then being rusty and probably needing all new tires. Did he say if the motor runs or spins over?

I would say $100-$125 or somewhere in that ballpark.

Can one of you Massey guys tell me how the blower is run on these and if it looks like its all there from the pictures....thanks.

Appears that the blower is complete, but I've never owned one. The belt on blower simply comes up the the pto pulley that drives the deck. You take deck off to install the blower. $200 is high for here, but as uncommon as they seem to be in your area, it might be worth the $200...but that's whatever you determine it's worth. That Cushman Truckster might be cool to have. I "think" they have a 10 or 12hp Kohler powerplant with torque converter belt system to the rear differential.

The blower looks complete other then you would need to check for the front mounting plate, it may be on the tractor still which is normal because that plate can always be left on. Unless they have it off and it is laying there somewhere. The other three things the blower is missing is the chute handle, the support for the chute handle and the lifting pin.

Guy still hasn't got back to me......I figure either he is busy (he is selling it for his dad).....or he is insulted by my offer.....lol

I hate waiting...

I hope you can rescue it, it's sad to see it wasting away sinking into the dirt.
