Have a GT275 and the PTO won't engage. does anyone have any ideas on which direction to start - or have a wiring diagram?

Welcome to GTtalk. I don't have any specific knowledge of the 275. The pto switch is pretty straight forward to check if you can physically get at the wiring. I would start by looking for the wiring to the clutch coil. There is normally a connector near the clutch. The cluch coil should measure a low resistance like 3 or 4 ohms to chassis. If you can find a fuse block you can check them to make sure they are ok. Sorry I don't have a wiring diagram. I'm not sure if there is one in the Manuals section of the forum. Common causes for no clutch engagement would be the coil, switch and wiring problems like bad connections and burnt or disconnected wires.
