Flood water rise and water has force

And Mother Nature applied it as a matter of course

Washed out the support and a temporary fix was found

To get people out of danger until it is once again sound

Time to order new materials and replace this damaged resource

What the mayor actually said was: "we don't want to pay for any engineers". I've seen several similar situations. Each time I gave a fair estimate of the situation and cost estimate for proper repairs I was told that I was crazy and that they couldn't afford to spend that kind of money on a small bridge. At the same time they would spend several times as much to replace the schools 3 year old computors. I am very glad to be away from town politics and bridge work. Good Luck, Rick
