Man this place has grown, I can remember when 30,000 was a big deal now more than double that and it's no big deal.
Lots of people must like this place and that's good.

I think it's a big deal! That's awesome! Thanks for pointing it out! We should have a little celebration when we hit 100,000 (probably next week at this rate!)

Thanks for the post Doug. I was just telling the wife that George will soon have to devote more time to keep the site running. I am not always on but when I do log in I'm amazed at the new members and how many posts . Thanks to all of you wonderful folks.

When I joined in March I was member 2723. Now the number is approaching 5000. So that looks like over 500 new members per month!! I sent a Supporter check to George the other day because I really enjoy this place and want to see it prosper.

Thank you for becoming a supporter, Brian. This is such a great site and it will continue to grow. Hopefully, more will join in and become supporters.

Thanks guys. I just love seeing everyone enjoy the place.

With how fast the site is growing I am stepping up in preparation now rather then wait until it is too late. I just built a home server the other day. I know some might not understand what all I am about explain. I wanted to have a server here at the house so I could set it up to automatically backup the webserver. I also needed it to have at least 4 hard drives in a Raid 10 setup. I have most of it finished other then a few more tweaks. Once everything is finished being setup it will do everything automatically and the backups are incremental meaning once the first backup is done it will only backup new changes or new files(like files added to the manuals section or new images or attachments). I won't have to manually backup the database everyday and backup the file system everyday manually. Doing it manually each time to backup the file system it would take hours to download because our current backup size is over 14gb.

I won't be buying any garden tractors anytime soon LOL.

In the long run it will be so worth it just in time saving alone, plus the piece of mind knowing information is backed up several times a day on a remote machine.

If it wasn't for George this place wouldn't be here.
If it wasn't for all the members it wouldn't be what it is.
