Yesterday while cleaning the carb. on the MF14 I noticed it was a little warm but didn't look to see just how hot it was. Just came back from the garage a few minutes ago and noticed my clock............................

Yep Brian, it's a little warm but I've worked outside all my life so I'm pretty much used to it. I just drink plenty of water and if I start feeling a little too hot I go to the hose and run a little cool water on my arms. When you make the statement about being too hot here stop and reflect what it would be like living elsewhere...........................would you really want to move!!! Being a Texan is a birthright for some of us and privilege for those who get here as soon as they can.

Ronnie, I am very PROUD to be a TEXAN. I was just stating the fact, that I think it's been too hot too early in the summer. I have been building equiptment for the last 8 weeks. Lots of welding and torch work, and I'm getting older, so it seems to have more of an effect on me. Where did you find the clock, I would love to have one of them. Very Cool !!!

Hey Brian, I was just joshing ya on the moving stuff. We've already had 34 days of 100 degrees or better, it's hot. The clock came from Hobby Lobby. It was the only one they had but others may have some.

Tulsa will be around 105 for at least another 7 days. That is hot for here, especially the temps we had for June. Not getting any moisture either.

Here in Amarillo we run in the mid 90's and it's nothing to have a week here and there in the triple digits, but usually it starts cooling down quickly when the sun sets and by midnight you might be in the mid 70's.

This year we've been above 95 for all of June and July and had weeks in the 100's today it hit 95 by noon. We hit 112 in early June....What is killing me is that it's still 90 at midnight. I'm not used to that and don't like it.... wfies gonna be after me to sell a tractor to pay our electric bill. I work in an office all day so when I get home and it's 105 it's hard on me to adjust.
