First of all, :welcome: to GTTalk.

Second, I know very little of the ford units... there are several guys here with LT series tractors tho. Could you be a little more specific regarding how it came apart/broke? Thank you.

 jahkeymo3 Welcome to GTTalk! Good to have you here! I'm sure that some of the Ford guys will be along to help with your question soon. Meanwhile, enjoy the forum and check out the manuals section. What you need may be there.

Did a little playing with my PrintKey 2000 program and captured this. Does it look like what you have?

If so, where did it break? May need to find some one to weld it back together or a donor trans for parts.

It looks very simaler. It is an LT80. 4 speed i believe. I removed thr shifter cover. Because it would not shift and was very sloppy. After removing the three screws. It just fell out. Like it had slipped out of gear. IDK

Here is the deal. The shifter was flopping from left to right. I assumed it had slipped out of gear. Removed the three allen head screws from around shifter boot. And the shifter just fell out. I have no idea what dear its in or how to resolve this easily. It had been sitting for years. It is a peerless 4 speed

Okay, I got the complete pic this time. This is from Messick's for an LT 80, so should be yours. Did the shifter come out in one piece? You may have a bad detent spring.
