Would anyone have an idea who made the longest wheelbase in a garden tractor? Most were around 48"

Simplicity Powermax. 4040, 4041, 9020 models. I think a person could get a 72" deck under there.

56" wheelbase.

Ya know, a JD 430 might be close due to modifying an air cooled gas tractor to have a liquid cooled diesel. I'll be back.

Nope, 53" is all.

Heck, even a Power King 2416 has the 430 beat, with a 54" wheelbase.

Gravely GMT 9000 is considered a "Garden Tractor" even though it has a water cooled 4 cylinder Continental stuffed under the hood and a 72" 3 blade deck.

Wheelbase: 63 inches

It came with a 72" mid mount deck and optional rear PTO driven 50" deck. 1,470 lbs Length:90.5 inches Wheelbase:63 inches

I found 1 of these forsale about an hour from me with the 72" deck for $1000 obo and it does run but it's kinda rough.
