First time owning a truck, (26 years old)

I now do not have to borrow my dads to haul trailer filled with GT, and other yard work activities.

2014 GMC Sierra SLE  with the 5.3 V8  Hope it treats me good!

Good looking truck. You got your first truck a lot younger than I did. I got a 99 Sierra SL with 4.8 and 5 speed at the age of 58. I am still driving it.

Nice choice.  Have fun trying to keep it shiny and black though. I just call that coating of road dust and mud that accumulates on mine " working camo",  lol.

Nice looking truck and a excellent choice of brand.  GMC or Chevy are about the same.  Mine is a black also and darn hard to keep clean.

My first truck was an S-10 in Desert Sand Metallic.  The common name for that color is dirt.  Looked the same whether it was washed or not.

Lately I've been getting my trucks in GMC white.  Turns out Rustoleum white is a perfect match.  Pretty handy.

I've had many trucks, 2wd and 4wd, full size, Dakota-sized, a dually at one time,  and even a 3/4 ton window van. For a while I had both trucks and cars, but given the offerings available for the past 15 years or so, and what I see coming in the not too distant future, I cannot see myself buying another car, maybe ever again. They are too small, and mostly front wheel drive (I hate working on most sideways engines, even for basic maintenance functions) As long as they make pickup trucks I will not be without one.

Awesome,,your friends know who to call on moving day :D

I also have a black truck, the only positive thing I can say about black truck is every hardware store carries colour matched paint for my ride.
