Here are a few more pics I threw the tin on because I have no patience to see things done. I did get spark in my spare 1220 so I am going to throw a carb on it and see if I can get it running on the bench so I can use this thing.

well I did get my motor to fire on the bench. so tomorrow I will try to get it in the tractor and see if it will actually run. I think it will be ok I pulled the head everything looked good. so after I run to the store for some paint and some time for it to dry, I may get it in tomorrow.

Thanks Brian, Do I have the battery mounted correctly? It used to just have a GT battery in it. This was the best way I could see to get the original mounts to work????

Ever since I had that "battery incident" with my 850 a few years ago I always make sure the battery will never move forward LOL

I may put a small lip on the battery tray to keep that from happening. not original but wouldn't bee seen either. these original brackets seem to hold the battery really well.

I agree the brackets work great when the proper battery like the one you got is installed. I've been using some smaller battery's on some of my other Bolens and thats why I had to fab up those homemade brackets..
