Bolens 1050

Picked this up on a whim last summer cause I wanted a Bolens and it just really doesn't fit in with the rest of my tractors. It's a 1050 model 192-02 on the tag. Has Bolens rear weights, 4 link V-bar chains, Brinly hitch, and spring assist on the lift. I think the lift bar for the hitch has been cut off because it's bolted to a bracket just behind the foot rest.

It starts right up without any smoke and goes through all the gears and had 4 new tires put on just before I got it. It needs to have a good going over. The engine should have a tune up and oil change, the left axle seal leaks and the drive gears in the rear probably need adjusting. When you drive it you can feel it going and then it will coast a little bit then drive again. I hooked it up to another tractor to check and when it's under a constant load it won't coast, just pull nice and smooth in all the gears.

The freewheel pin is stuck like most of them get but the diff lock is free. When I got it I was told the pto had been taken out of it but looking it over I believe it was just the belts that were removed. The pto shaft in the front axle does have a good amount of wiggle in it and the front axle where the left steering spindle goes through has been broken and rewelded and the steering is kind of loose from worn tie rod ends.

I'd like to get $400 or best reasonable offer for it. Stewart
