After literally Weeks of my family putting up with Dad's idiosyncratic nature preparing for shows, we took the day off from everything & went to an area attraction. The place is called Deer Park & is a Mom & Pop Exotic Animal Park and small petting zoo.

My Daughter Loran's first excursion to a zoo like place & she was filled with wonder. The older two had a good time when they weren't being siblings, and Mom & Dad had a good time too. Special Shout Out to my Daughter Kaylen for suggesting it.

Glad you guys had a good time! We did the same, but it's hard to get pics of fireworks with a cell phone! (I did try though Brian, they just didn't come out!)

It was a good day. Had to bark at the kid a a little, as the 2 older ones were like oil & water, but we had a good time.

I never liked places like that, usually the conditions are less than OK for the animals. Would be nice if they had another visible food source than the stuff the kids feed them, but every animal had water, shade, and shelter.

My pics of the big cats didn't come out so well because of the chain link fence... And that just OK... I want the chain link there LOL
