I just changed my first front tire last night, Getting the bead to break on one side was a PITA. Then I grabbed my biggest cold chisel and tapped it in between the rim and the bead. then grabbed a smaller chisel and tapped it in between the tire and the first chisel I did this at three points around the tire and it popped off the bead. I sure wish these would fit in my air powered tire changing machine!

The one I pulled off for the pics was a PITA, also. But with an 8' cheater bar in the HF tire changer to break it loose, something was going to give. Can't put too much pressure on it, as the last time I used that cheater, I pulled on of the anchor bolts through the metal holding it down. LOL Took about 6 revolutions of a little at a time to get it broke loose. I love Big Bertha, she my favorite cheater bar.

I don't use a cheater bar in the HF tire changer I have, I prefer to stand on the end of the bar provided and jump up and down on it! LOL

(...mabey it is time I invest in a cheater bar....haha)

I'm glad I wasn't standing on mine when the bolt pulled through. It might have hurt.
